Still in pursuit of the perfect burger... 

This one I called the burger royal;

A mix of veal, beef and pork pattie

Caramelized onions, mushrooms, peppers and garlic

Swiss and Cheddar cheese

Bacon

Dressed Caesar salad for top

Tomatoes

on a freshly baked cheese bun

Le Cheese Resto

So Le Cheese food truck just opened a sister shop in NDG; In an effort to keep my taste buds expanding we took the kids for a bite. The interior was very nice and cheesy, the food was cheesy but lacked overall flavour. We sampled the mac and cheese, grilled cheese, mac and cheese balls, the tomato soup and the philly steak, all of which were good but nothing more. I feel the overall lack of seasoning could have remedied this short coming greatly, because I really want to go back... might bring my own salt, pepper and hot sauce next time.

Cocktails

Most cocktail parties have your fair share of cheeses and the likes, but recently I had the pleasure of attending a cocktail that had raclette. Sliced smoked meats, small potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, and yummy hot smooth creamy cheese smothering everything!
